How do I search for holiday accommodation?

Visit our home page and click the blue 'Search' button to see a complete listing of ALL Holidirect properties, or complete the search criteria first then click the blue 'Search' button to personalise your search.

If you'd rather search by map location visit the 'Map Search' page and use the seacrh box as above.

You can personalise your results by completing some or all of the following....

Arrival/departure dates: Choose your holiday dates.
Destination: Enter the country, region, town or resort you'd like to go to.
Property type: If you know the type of place you'd like to stay in, choose from the options.
Property ID: Enter a certain property ID if you know it.
Bedrooms/Guests: Choose the size of property you're looking for - either by the number of bedrooms or number of guests it sleeps.

How do I book a property?
Holidirect.com is a marketplace that allows holidaymakers to find the perfect holiday accommodation to suit their wants and needs.

Enter your travel dates and/or destination and/or number of bedroom and guests on our homepage to search our selection of listings and find your ideal holiday home. You can also use the 'Map Search' to explore various regions and areas.
Review the details of properties you're interested in and contact the owner or property manager by completing the Reservation Request form on each property page. You can include any questions, request more information and confirm availability. When you click 'Send Request' your enquiry will be sent to the owner/manager. We encourage them to reply to reservation requests within 24 - 48 hours.

We recommend contacting a few properties in case your first choice isn't available/suitable.

Once you have confirmation from the property owner/manager that your dates and rates have been agreed you will be asked to pay a deposit to secure your booking. The property owner will agree method and terms of payment with you.

How do I pay for my holiday rental?

You can pay by bank transfer or via the PayPal system using your credit/debit card or PayPal account. You DO NOT need to have a PayPal account to pay via PayPal.

Is there a booking fee or admin fee charged to holidaymakers?

Absolutely not. It is completely free to search and book your property on Holidirect.

How do I contact the property owner/manager?

The owner/manager of the property will provide their contact details when you make your booking.
